Payment Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:


1. Payment Authorization
By submitting payment, you authorize Vernon G. Edwards Ltd. to charge the payment method provided for the amount specified in your invoice, service agreement, booking confirmation, or account statement.


2. Accuracy of Information
You confirm that all billing, shipping, and payment information provided is accurate, complete, and belongs to you or that you have authority to use the payment method.


3. Service Fees
Payments made through this portal relate to logistics, transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, supply chain management, or other services provided by Vernon G. Edwards Ltd. as outlined in applicable service agreements.


4. Currency and Taxes
All charges are processed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, surcharges, and governmental assessments may be added where required by law.


5. Non-Payment
Failure to make payment when due may result in:

 

  • Service suspension

  • Delayed shipment release

  • Storage charges

  • Interest or late payment fees as permitted by law

  • Collection actions


6. Refunds and Disputes
Refund requests and billing disputes must be submitted in writing within [30] days of the transaction date. Approved refunds will be processed according to applicable banking and card network timelines.


7. Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Vernon G. Edwards Ltd. before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery of associated costs.


8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vernon G. Edwards Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this payment portal.


9. Cargo Claims, Service Disputes, and Payment Independence
Payment of any invoice, charge, fee, duty, tax, storage cost, transportation cost, customs-related expense, or other amount due to Vernon G. Edwards Ltd. shall not be construed as:

 

  • Acceptance or waiver of any cargo claim, loss claim, damage claim, shortage claim, delay claim, service complaint, or dispute;

  • An admission of liability by either party;

  • Settlement, compromise, or resolution of any pending or future claim relating to transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, inventory management, or other logistics services.

 

All cargo claims, service disputes, and liability matters shall be governed exclusively by the applicable transportation agreement, logistics services agreement, warehouse receipt, bill of lading, tariff, service contract, or other governing document between the parties. Payment obligations and dispute resolution procedures shall remain separate and independent unless otherwise agreed in writing by authorized representatives of both parties.


Customers agree that withholding payment for undisputed charges based on unrelated cargo or service disputes is not permitted except where required by applicable law or expressly authorized under a written agreement.
